USEFUL SITES AND FORUMS
W3 Schools
I think that W3Schools is the best source right now on learning the basics of coding, especially CSS and Dhtml. Not only is it very clear, concise, and comprehensive, it even gives visitors a playground where they can do coding exercises and see the results in real time.

Echoecho
EchoEcho may not be as comprehensive as W3Schools, but it has some of the most clear and easiest to understand primers on html, css, and other important web coding. This is a very good site to start off with if you're completely brand new to all this stuff and want to get grounded before going off to more advanced tutorials.

Good-Tutorials
This is probably the definitive site for Photoshop tutorials, which teaches visitors how to do all the latest and trendy graphic effects, from scanlines and cool wallpapers, to pixel art and text effects.

Flashkit
Flashkit is the ultimate resource for Flash users, offering example movies for downloads, a large number of tutorials, and a forum where anyone from a novice to an advanced user can ask for advice. Even better, the forum is not limited to Flash MX, but provides help for users of other Flash software, such as Swish and Cool Moves.

Actionscript.org
This is another great Flash-related reference site, this time dealing with Actionscript. There is a huge library of tutorials here, from beginner to advanced, and they also come with example movies for you to study.

Webmaster World
A wildly popular message board, Webmaster World is a virtual cornucopia of great advice, tips, and tricks posted by knowledgeable members, ranging from html markup to making the most of Google Ad Sense. The best way to get the most out of this forum is to just browse through the archives, as they are chock full of information and links to various resources.

Sitepoint
Sitepoint is known for its many web dev articles and tutorials; however, it has a great forum much like Webmaster World, where any newbie can post questions about anything having to do with webmastering, or just read archived posts answering any questions they have.

HTML Goodies
Virtually a staple on the web, this is perhaps the most well known html tutorial site on the web-- as well it should be. The lessons are very easy and comprehensive, and will probably have even the newiest of novices comfortably writing code in no time.
